Collabs with good people are my favorite — I couldn’t say no

When Morgan English of Stoned & Toned reached out about an educational collaboration with Hempsley about the science behind why kanna pairs so well with your workout, my sacral center said “hellll YES!” (If you know Human Design, you know what I’m talking about *insert winky face here)

I met Morgan on Instagram 7+ years ago

Morgan and I started following each other on Instagram over 7 years ago, back when Instagram was cool and actually helpful (the golden days). We had a design firm book us both for a few photoshoots in Vegas summer of 2017, and we were pumped to finally meet in-person. She didn’t end up making it, but we met later that year at Canna Curious Club’s LA Getaway event series — and we resonated.

Morgan is one of the most talented and hardworking people I know. Watching her build Stoned & Toned from the ground up around her passions for people and fitness has been an absolute inspiration — and now she’s had a baby while doing freelance photography on top of running her business! Goddess?? YES.

The first phase of this project was building a website page

At least, I thought it was the first phase. The first phase was actually writing the content — and I froze. It was really hard. And the first thing I’d really written since burning out back in 2019. Thankfully, Morgan’s the best and was super patient.

The next time you see a well-designed Instagram graphic, I want you to really take some time to appreciate it. Soak it in. Because with as fancy as things are getting these days for this very fleeting and rarely-reaching-more-than-5%-of-the-people-who-have-chosen-to-follow-you content, keeping up is hard. And takes a lot of time. So basically, I hope you like these.

These are the only workout videos I’ve ever liked. The energy in these sweat sessions makes it feel like you’re just hanging out with friends in your living room — though, I suppose I might be a bit bias since I do know and love Morgan. But even videos without her in them (instead with teachers I do not know IRL) are amazing and have the same uplifting, supportive, light, and fun energy.
